Double vinyl LP pressing. The Ladder is the 18th studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes. It was originally released in September 1999 and is their only studio album recorded with six full-time members, following the addition of guitarist Billy Sherwood and keyboardist Igor Khoroshev. The band started on the album in 1998 while touring Open Your Eyes (1997); during a stop in Vancouver, Canada they agreed to work with Canadian producer Bruce Fairbairn relocated there in early 1999 to record the album at Armoury Studios.
