Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the classic 1972 album by acclaimed singer/songwriter Al Stewart. Orange was released in 1972 by CBS Records and marked the start of a change in career of Al Stewart. He had already released three albums and had become a popular attraction on the UK live music scene. Orange featured songs inspired by the break-up of his relationship with his then-girlfriend, (such as 'Songs Out of Clay', 'Night of 4th of May') but also saw Stewart explore progressive musical themes within his songs, particularly on the expansive 'The News from Spain', which featured impressive keyboard work from Rick Wakeman.
