Digitally re-mastered edition of this album from the Soul singer. TRANSITION was recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia in 1974 and features arrangements by Norman Harris, Richard Rome and Bobby Eli. Creatively, it has been considered her strongest and funkiest of her albums. The album has been a collector's item for many years and we are proud to be able to present it for the first time on CD re-mastered from the original masters, as part of our classic albums series. TRANSITION is a concept album reflecting problems in society at the time with thought provoking songs and a cover illustrating the issues graphically. The album was produced by her manager and husband, Jimmy Bishop.
