There's a revolution happening on this CD and Brick is looking to enlist you. The word anthem comes to mind when listening to the Automan CD from Brick. Who knows why or when it is to take place but we know where - right on this CD. Listen...LOUD. In English! Brick bildades i Stockholm under sommaren 1993 av: Nandor Hegedus/sång, Lynard Olsson/bas, Jejo Perkovic/trummor och Patrik Instedt/gitarr. De blev signade av Dolores Recordings 1994 och spelade in och släppte debutalbumet SUOMI ett år senare. Suomi blev mycket bra emottagen av svensk press, och blev kallad trendsättande för den svenska underground-scenen och ofta jämförd med band som Jesus Lizard, Fugazi och Dead Kennedys. 1997 spelade Brick in deras andra album, Volvoland, tillsammans med Bob Weston från Shellac, som lämnade Chicago med två resväskor fyllda med mikrofoner. Idén brick hade med Volvoland var att skapa en naken, nästan steril ljudbild vilket uppnåddes med Bob Westons utmärkta mixning. 1998 släpptes en sex spårs 10', Smack, med 3 livelåtar samt 3 outgivna låtar inspelade samtidigt som Volvoland. Samma år lämnade Nandor Hegedus bandet för att koncentrera sig på studier. Brick valde att fortsätta som trio med gitarristen Patrik Instedt på sång. Efter att ha repat och skrivit låtar i drygt ett år spelade Brick in 14 låtar och i oktober 2000 släpptes 7' Pistol. 23: e april släpps Brick's nya album Automan. Skivan är inspelad tillsammans med Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Fireside), och den släpps på A West Side Fabrication. Automan by Brick - imported from Sweden by Listening Post Music.
