Brown performs both original tracks, and covers songs by such blues heroes as T-Bone Walker and Percy Mayfield, as well as a song by his protégé, Albert Collins. After achieving his long-deserved acclaim for this album, Brown was able to remain a high-profile blues/roots artist until his death in 2005.
