Long-associated with the minimalist music scene, Gibson was a founding member and performer with the Philip Glass Ensemble. Steve Reich's 1967 composition Reed Phase was written especially for him. Gibson has been working extensively in the world of dance. This program includes some recent and older dance pieces including recent commissions for choreographer Nina Winthrop & Dancers.
