This is the sequel to the first Schifrin/Sade album, "The Dissection and Reconstruction of Music from the Past as Performed by the inmates of Lalo Schifrin's Demented Ensemble as a Tribute to the memory of the Marquis de Sade." the original vinyl LP became a collector's item and when it was re-released again on CD in a limited edition, sold out in one week. The style is the same, a witty marriage of baroque and renaissance music with jazz in groupings ranging from small to full symphony orchestra with some vocals mixed in. Features such jazz luminaries as Ray Brown, Grady Tate, Jeff Hamilton, Brian Bromberg, Tom Scott and Schifrin on the harpsichord and piano.
