About Larry Stevens From New York to Nashville, singer-songwriter Larry Stevens has developed a well-deserved reputation for high-energy performances that keep audiences on their feet. The Montvale, New Jersey native recorded his latest CD,'Downstairs at Mayo's'. This was a labor of love for Stevens all song's co written by him along with Veteran Writers Jimbeau Hinson James Reilley and Margaret Harris...Produced by Greg Mayo this project has a very unique and warm sound! Still commuting between Nashville and the New York metropolitan area, Larry continues to write with industry legends while pursuing opportunities for his band and his solo career. "While I enjoy the songwriting and recording process, the biggest thrill for me is to see how people enjoy and relate to my music when they hear it live," he says. In Nashville, Stevens focused on recording while performing at such renowned venues as The Bluebird Café and The Opryland Hotel. In New York, he has played at every music hot spot in Greenwich Village, including The Bitter End and Kenny's Castaways. A member of the venerable Friar's Club since late 2005, Stevens has appeared regularly at the club's cabaret. In his home state of New Jersey, he has shared the main stage with the Doobie Brothers and Peter Frampton at the annual Quik Chek Festival of Ballooning and was a Main Stage Act at The Meadowlands Fair.
