Much like their debut, Dangerous Attraction, Lion banged out big, bold, arena rock anthems, with Swan stamping each track with his rich pipes. With nine originals (five of which were previously recorded on the group's Power Love EP), along with a cover of Slade's "Lock Up Your Daughter", Trouble in Angel City sounds better than most of the Hard Rock recordings from the late '80s, when the big hair band ride was in cruise control.
