Vinyl LP pressing including digital download. 2017 release from Los Angeles-based Italian composer, musician, arranger and producer Daniele Luppi. Milano is a collaboration with alt-rock band Parquet Courts and also features musical contributions from Yeah Yeah Yeahs vocalist Karen O. Daniele Luppi is a perpetually innovative pop musician and movie/television soundtrack composer, an artist twice nominated for Emmys and a featured musical collaborator with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan, Gnarls Barkley and John Legend (amongst others). Daniele longed to do a tribute to his beloved Milan, a city where he spent a large chunk of his teenage years. With Milano, Daniele teamed up with group Parquet Courts and Yeah Yeah Yeah's vocalist, Karen O, to help deliver his vibrant, poignant vision of an emerging youth culture struggling to be heard amidst the rapid gentrification of old Milan.
