35 years have passed since the legendary MSG concert Live At The Budokan. The return to Japan with his original singers from the 80s after 35 years was staged at the Michael Schenkerfest with Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet and Robin McAuley in the great ambience of the Tokyo International Forum. 5000 enthusiastic fans have been the keys to a fundamental hard rock concert of the highest caliber that will go down in history. It is a miracle after all these years that something great like this concert with original band members of MSG took place. Being able to return to these days and celebrate the music is an exciting experience for the musicians as well as for all old and new fans. It is an indescribable joy to experience the old times again and to revive. For Michael Schenker it was a very good feeling to have his whole MSG family from the 80s around and to perform together with them. Especially with Graham Bonnet, with whom he had never been back on stage after her 1982 joint assault attack album. Luckily, it was also possible for original MSG members Gary Barden, Chris Glen and Ted McKenna to be part of this new project. And to be united again with Robin McAuley and Steve Mann, was for Michael Schenker really great.
