Millie's top-selling "Best Of" compilation is reissued with a new cover and a new sleeve note. The CD contains 21 great tracks by Georgia's finest soul singer. Chronicling her singing career between 1971 and 1983, "21 Of The Best" does not include her raps or monologues (which can't be condensed). Beginning with 1971's 'A Child Of God (It's Hard To Believe)' (Spring 119), "21 Of The Best" includes 17 songs that made the US R&B charts (eight of them the Top 20) and six that crossed over into the US Pop 100 - 'Ask Me What You Want' (#27), 'My Man, A Sweet Man' (#42), 'It Hurts So Good' (#24), 'How Do You Feel The Morning After' (#77), '(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want To Be Right' and 'If You're Not Back In Love By Monday' (#43). The album concludes with the 1983 classic ballad 'I Feel Like Walking In The Rain', which was her label swansong at Spring Records.
