Miranda is the daughter of cult cartoonists Ted and Teresa Richards, and is the goddaughter of Robert (aka R.) Crumb. Kirk Hammett of Metallica taught her a few songs on guitar and she went on to work with Joe Firstman, Suzanne Vega, Tim Burgess, Tricky, Good Listeners and The Jesus And Mary Chain. She was also a member of the Brian Jonestown Massacre (she sang their hit ‘Anemone’). Echoes Of The Dreamtime follows The Herethereafter (2001) and Light Of X (2009) and is produced by Rick Parker (Dandy Warhols and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club).
