Digitally remastered edition. Unavailable for years and traded in all exchanges in the world at premium prices, the masterpiece of the German Krautrock-romantics Novalis is finally available again. Recorded in 1979, it marks the creative high point of the band. Flossenengel is a concept album about the relationship between nature and man. It tells the story of the whale Atlanto that is captured, but then released from his repentant fisherman back into it's natural surroundings. The spectacular tour for the album and the "radio friendly" length of the tracks granted Novalis a great airplay and popularity at the time, thus was Flossenengel was one of the biggest hits of the band.
