After years of being out of print, and on it's 12 year anniversary, Canada's post-hardcore veterans, Silverstein, is reissuing Rescue on limited edition vinyl. Originally released in 2011, Rescue, is a big piece of the band's history, moving away from screamo/pop punk and moving into a solidly heavy, more traditional rock sound. Produced by Jordan Valeriote, the album features the fan favorite "Sacrifice" and collaborations with Anthony Raneri of Bayside and Brendan Murphy of Counterparts. With ambitious song-writing and pushing the heavy aggression that would be harnessed in future releases, Rescue, has fueled the band into their modern sound, influencing a genre of their own making.
