Vinyl LP pressing. 2010 release, the third album from the Australian Roots/Blues outfit. Not ones to rest on their laurels, The Audrey's re-invented the approach to this recording, with a focus back on the songwriting core and heart of the band; Taasha Coates and Tristan Goodall. Calling on a who's who of Australian musicians to contribute to the making of Sometimes the Starss, including Tim Rogers, Jazz Avant-garde pianist Paul Grabowsky, and Michael Barker of John Butler Trio fame, the duo set to work under the deft hand of producer, engineer and friend Shane O'Mara. The writing and making of the record was interspersed with a backpacking jaunt through India, a tequila-soaked trip to Los Angeles, and a determined focus to get back to what started the whole shebang in the mid 2000's; the songs of Taasha and Tristan.
