2017 release form the former Sonic Youth guitarist/vocalist. Rock 'n' Roll Consciousness was produced by Paul Epworth (Paul McCartney, Adele) at The Church studios in London and mixed by Randall Dunn (Marissa Nadler) in Seattle. This release features musical assistance from James Sedwards on guitar, Deb Googe of My Bloody Valentine on bass, and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth and Sun Kil Moon on drums. Apart from Sonic Youth, Moore has also participated in many solo and group collaborations outside Sonic Youth, as well as running the Ecstatic Peace! Record label. Moore was ranked 34th in Rolling Stone's 2004 edition of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time."
