'Thyresis' is to the unadvised observer a melodic Death Metal album, but it actually goes way beyond! With clear influences from classic Heavy Metal, Black Metal, Power Metal and Thrash Metal, this album is a full Metal experience, rich in melodies, heaviness, with beautiful solos, pristine clean and heavy distorted guitar sounds, chugging catchy riffs and agressive vocals, all mixed with a refined taste and great production all the way through fifteen tracks, instrumental and non-instrumental. The album is a conceptual one, with lyrics about internal struggles and social misplacement from a deep and personal point of view. Divided in five parts, the tracks presented in this work tells us a story in a way the listener and reader can relate to and feel part of. In addition to it, the beautifully designed booklet contains several texts and references to pop culture that are certainly worthy of attention. 'Thyresis' was produced and mixed by the band's bassist and singer, Victor Hugo Targino, who worked with several other bands from Northeastern Brazil such as Soturnus, Dissidium and Madness Factory, and Swedish bands Akribi and Unlit Face. It was also mastered by renowed Swedish producer Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Paradise Lost, Opeth, Katatonia, Symphony X, Devin Townsend Project, among others) at Fascination Street Studios, in Örebro, Sweden.
