Heidi Newfield struck out on her own as a solo artist after being part of the Country band Trick Pony until 2006, and hasn't looked back. Her new album The Barfly Sessions in due out on August 28th.

She joined our host Dani Pinkus for our Tower Instagram Live show to chat about songs like "Johnny and June" about her wonderful experiences with Johnny Cash and June Carter, and to perform some awesome new songs and share her impressive livestreaming skills with us.
