Guitarist Mike Rusch of the Philadelphia-based band Brother Starling joined our Instagram Live show hosted by Dani Pinkus to talk about the band's recently released album, The Weight of Change and their video for "Madmen" from that album. He also explores his own musical history as a guitarist and the styles and approaches that have helped craft the Rock and Americana sounds of Brother Starling.

Recording the new album itself was a process of grappling with intense emotions for the band, but the release period has contained some joy with the birth of a new child into the Brother Starling family, as you'll hear in the interview!
