The Baltimore-based band The Stone Horses have recently released their second EP, Good Ol' Days, and the band's singer John Allen joined our Tower Instagram Live show, hosted by Whitney Moore, to dig into all things Rock.

Allen's biggest statement right now is that he would prefer to focus on positivity, given the state of the world, and on reframing experiences in a useful light, even in this new release, which takes us back to the happier times of gathering together before COVID.

As he's said regarding the release of the new EP:

“With this new record, I wanted to give the listener some escapism. As I started to write the song ‘Good Ol’ Days’ at the beginning of 2020, it was already looking a little like we were in for a fucked up year, so I figured, ‘Man, let’s remember the good times. Let’s remember the times when we could hang out, go to parties, go to concerts and music festivals!’ Hopefully, we can get back to that place really really soon! We need some fun back in our lives. I know that might seem childish these days, but it might not hurt to think of those ‘Good Ol’ Days’ when we didn’t have a care in the world.”

The title single from the EP has also received its own video, which you can check out below:
