Nashville-based Rock trio The Brummies, have been bringing us singles this summer, including “Sunshine,” but have just dropped the 70s-flavored “After Midnight.”
“After Midnight” turns on the idea of a late night dancehall "ruled by moonlight and emotions on high", according to the band, and compositionally speaking, started with a synth.
Two years ago, The Brummies made their debut with the full-length album Eternal Reach, which eatured Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves on the song “Drive Away.”
The band returned this year with “Hillside,” which was featured in the trailer for Dads, a film-festival favorite directed by Bryce Dallas Howard.
