For the second installment of the Blue Series Remix 12-inches, Jack Dangers, a.k.a. Meat Beat Manifesto, has concocted two stellar remixes of material drawn from DJ Wally's critically acclaimed 2003 Blue Series entry, "Nothing Stays the Same". "Travelogue 1" is sparse, jittery funk to get you moving. On "Travelogue 2", Meat Beat wields his own bass clarinet, layering his playing above Daniel Carter's sax and Peter Gordon's soaring flute to achieve a sound reminiscent of 1970's soul jazz but retaining a hip-hop swing. The b-side features two DJ Wally originals from "Nothing Stays the Same". This is one to work the dance floor.
