Formerly of Bill Monroe's band, Don Reno was an amazing banjo picker, a fine singer and a prolific songwriter who had a hand in writing most of the 109 songs on this 4-CD set! In 1951 he joined with guitarist Red Smiley, and with their Tennessee Cut-ups began their legendary decade plus partnership. This collector's box set also includes a 32-page booklet with detailed session info and many great photos.
