Karem Mahmoud, born on March 16, 1922, in Damanhur, Egypt, was a legendary Egyptian singer and musician, often called "the singer of kings and princes." From a young age, he showed exceptional talent for singing and joined the Arab Music Institute in Cairo. He became one of the most prominent voices of classical Arabic music in the 1940s and 1950s. Karem Mahmoud was also a skilled composer, with famous songs like Samra Ya Samra and Ana Habayt. He appeared in several musical films, solidifying his status as a star in the Egyptian entertainment industry. His warm, melodic voice captivated generations of listeners across the Arab world. Karem Mahmoud passed away on January 15, 1995, leaving behind a rich musical legacy.
