RISE AND SHINE is the 8th album by Seattle kids entertainer Caspar Baby pants. Caspar is also known as Chris Ballew from the rock and roll band the Presidents of the United States of America. The album spans from up tempo tunes to sleepy time ditties over the course of 19 tracks. Guests on the CD include Rachel Flotard (Visqueen) and Jen Wood both on vocals. Caspar continues to draw heavily from traditional folk and roots sources to update some classic songs for families (Hush Little Baby, Rock a Bye Baby, the Littlest Worm, Silly Bird, John Mousey, Rig a Jig Jig) with new lyrics and musical angles that keep the originals intact. The artwork is once again brilliantly created by his wife the local artist and illustrator Kate Endle.
