The final part of Anthony Goldstone's brilliant triptych of recitals including transcriptions, variations, fantasias, and arrangements of music from public 'spectacles' - the first two CDs attracted enormous critical praise and this volume is no less fine, containing perhaps a few more well-known themes, such as those from Swan Lake and the Nutcracker, but in fresh and new arrangements by the performer - indeed most of the music here is receiving it's first recording.

Tracks:
1.1 Pas de Deux, from the Nutcracker
1.2 Invitatio to the Dance (Le Spectre de la Rose)
1.3 Ritual Fire Dance, from El Amor Brujo
1.4 Pas de Deux, from Don Quixote
1.5 Ballet Music from Ascanio in Alba
1.6 Elite Syncopations
1.7 Adaptation of Theewaltz from Delibes' Naila
1.8 Echo's Dance, from the Sanquine Fan
1.9 Tchaikovsky Pas de Duex, from Swan Lake
1.10 Waltz in C Sharp minor, Op. 64, No. 2 (Les Sylphides)
