The best music always comes from the heart. 'Appalachian Trail' pays tribute to the artistic legacy of an ancestor, George David Frye, who died in France from the flu pandemic of 1918 at age 28. Featuring the country rock compositions of Ralph Frye Vittek, the album also includes the band's usual array of Rhythm and Blues, Rock, Reggae and Jazz with tinged tales of love and redemption. From a family reunion in western Pennsylvania, the Frye/Sanders cousins chant 'We're not done yet.' How true. All songs written by James Vittek and Ralph Vittek. Ralph and his wife, Susan reside in Carlsbad, CA. Ralph's brother James, lives in Chagrin Falls, OH. James is the founder of their band, Chantilly Lace. Recognized internationally for their songwriting abilities, Chantilly Lace offers an array of music appreciated in many countries and by many cultures. Enjoy the music.
