Shelly Waters, hailing from Rayne, Louisiana (the heart of Cajun country), has been singing and playing music all her life. She grew up in a French-speaking household, soaking up the swamp pop and other bayou sounds on her parents' radio. Fronting her first country band at the mere age of twelve, she has had a lifelong devotion to music.
