I sang from the age of three or four. I remember my dad teaching me songs like 'Down Where the Sunflowers Grow,' and 'Good Ship Lollipop.' I sang in many locations as a child and young student. Upon graduation from high school, I entered Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where I met Phil White. Phil and I were married, and traveled with Word of Life for several years. In 1970, Phil and I were selected to become members of The Discovery Singers on 'Day of Discovery,' the television program produced by The Radio Bible Class, and filmed at Cypress Gardens, FL. I would go on to sing as a soloist and a member of the Discovery Singers from 1971 until 1985. During this time Phil and I were living in Elgin, Illinois with our young daughters, Aimee, Kim and Karma. I continued to be involved musically in one way or another with Moody Bible Institute and WMBI. I was often the female soloist on Friday evening Telephone Requests, joining male soloists such as Burt Kettinger or Glenn Jorian for each broadcast. I began singing with the Kings Karollers on the international radio broadcast of The Moody Church in Chicago, 'Songs in the Night,' in 1972 and was a part of that program until I retired 25 years later in 1997. Throughout the commitments above, I sang in concerts and at conferences, and appeared on numerous television programs in Chicago and within the US. In addition to producing five solo albums, I also participated in innumerable recording and performing projects for varying music production companies.
