The Musical Disciples were organized on September 10,2003. Stevern Harrison and Robert Jones talked about putting this group together over a period of seven(7) years and God helped them bring it to fruition. The Disciples have sung for many organizations such as the NAACP,The Black Caucus,The Masonic Lodge and many other organizations and functions. In addition to their new release 'Sad Thing',they have 2 other recordings,one entitled'Jesus Is The Only Way' snd a CD entitled 'My God Is A Good God'. The Disciples have been singing for 14years and they've sung at many churches, banquets,reunions and prisons.They love to sing and lift up the name of Jesus and bring joy to those who listen to their music. Members of the Disciples are as follows: Steven Harrison-lead singer,tenor and baritone Marvin Bobbitt-lead singer,baritone and tenor Loretta Jones-lead and tenor David Powell-fifth tenor and lead guitarist Robert Jones-tenor,baritone,and keyboardist James Thompson our newest member and bass player.
