2011 sophomore release from Waipuna (Kale Hannah's and Matthew Sproat). E Ho'i Mai is an intimate showcase of relationships and landscapes that have highlighted their journeys and shaped their character. It is said that when the world out there gets difficult, we can seek relief in music that reflects on cherished mementos of people and places that have enriched our lives. Included are selections from the songbook of Hawaiian classics that Kale and Matt have enjoyed since childhood. The duo has been blessed by mentors who have added depth to their worldview. E Ho'i Mai also features original compositions of two kumu hula (hula teacher) who have shared generously, Kawaikapuokalani Hewett and S. Maka Herrod. Hawaiian language scholar and Nä Hökü Hanohano Award winning composer Puakea Nogelmeier has also contributed a new composition.
