Terry "T'Jha" Smith started singing in church at age 5. In the 70's when the afros came, he let his grow to about 8" to 10". Everybody had the same comment, "...he looks just like Michael Jackson..." Not only in looks, but he also sang like him, too. Fast forward over the last 30 years and you'll see him as the front man in bands traveling the world playing bars, Nite clubs, lounges, Cruise Ships and Hotel Casinos in Las Vegas and throughout the US, Canada, Warsaw, Poland, Guam, Singapore, and Japan. Along the way he taught himself to play the bass, keyboards, drums and rhythm guitar that he would switch to during performances. Some of his original music from the 90's found it's way as beats for the kidz of KFABS (Kidz For A Better Society, Inc) a non-profit youth organization that trained youth with interest in the music industry. Ne-Yo and his group was one of acts that used his beats. Now full circle, those youth are now collaborating and producing him. From that came "Let It Rain." Results like this comes from talent, persistence and family support. Just one more talent representing the Smitchell Family in Vegas. Stop by and have a listen at www.myspace.com/tj89145.
