Her intimate interpretation of Irving Berlin's standard 'Change Partners' makes you feel as if she is singing right to you. In fact, the whole CD sounds like she is singing directly to you! In the genre of Diana Krahl and Shirley Horn, this is a CD that you would choose for any intimate setting . Jan has performed as a live performer for many years,as well as a studio vocalist in her early career. Originally from St. Louis Missouri, she lives and teaches in Boston, where she holds the position of Voice Dept. Chair at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Ma.
