The movie is the second feature-length film to star Shaun the Sheep, the beloved animated star of the children's television series who first appeared in the Wallace & Gromit short film A Close Shave. The first full-length movie, Shaun the Sheep Movie, was released in 2015 to huge popular and critical acclaim, receiving Academy Award® and BAFTA Nominations for Best Animated Feature Film.
