This work, his first in four years since 'Tones' in 2019, is self-produced and features support from familiar musicians from his band-format live performances: Yuichi Ushioda (Gt), Wataru Mitsunaga (Dr), Kota Ikebe (Ba), and Saori Yamamoto (Fl). Blending influences from Brazilian music, Afrobeat, dub, soul, and funk, the album showcases his richly textured musical background. At it's core are his delicate and beautiful vocals, intertwined with melodies and lyrics born from a unique perspective, resulting in an expansive and imaginative sound. The album includes previously released singles such as 'In Bloom' (mixed and mastered by ZAK) and 'Oasis no Mabataki' (mixed and mastered by Ryoji Yanagida), as well as a cover of Kebab Johnson's 'Torch Song. ' Across all tracks, the album evokes the sensation of wandering through a fictional city or stepping into an otherworldly realm, creating a fantastical and immersive listening experience. The new tracks were recorded by Ryoji Yanagida, with mixing and mastering by Naoyuki Uchida. The album cover visual was created by Risamu Gakiya, with design by Itsuko Kira. A1. Kuchibue FukiA2.
