Limited translucent yellow colored vinyl LP pressing. Hardly any indie band from Down Under has managed to make headlines - and charts - worldwide beyond their continent in recent years. Formed in Melbourne in 2010, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are the famous exception to the infamous rule. 24 studio albums in 10 years also speak a clear workaholic language, and also show that the group has enormous fun in what they do. Their mix of LoFi (hard) rock mixed with garage, psychedelic prog and blues is pretty unique these days. It goes without saying that this comes into it's own live with full force, given the sound melange mentioned. The performances are always at the highest level, even if the set list is hardly recognizable from tour to tour due to the sheer unmanageable output. Live Around The Globe is the compilation of the best of those moments - an imaginary live concert - mastered in one flow. Part III of the series not only spans the continents, but also dares to jump through time. A lane change from 2016 to 2022 without noticing it - is that even possible?
