Vinyl LP pressing. Icelandic outfit Árstíðir's second studio album Svefns og vöku skil, which translates to "the boundary between sleep and waking," was written over a period of two years. During this time the sound of Árstíðir matured from it's homegrown roots, featuring broad, lush string arrangements and revealing a more experimental side of the band. The album was recorded in Studio Hljóðriti in June and July 2011 with Styrmir Hauksson as engineer, and was produced by Ólafur Arnalds and mastered in Berlin by Nils Frahm. It now receives it's first proper North American release on vinyl courtesy of Season of Mist.
