First time officially released on CD. Restored and remastered by EROC. Total playing time 42. 48. 12-page booklet. Liner Notes by Chris Welch. Colosseum's fiery brand of progressive jazz rock was hugely popular on the late 60s live music scene and so it was no surprise when they were invited to play at one of the world's biggest jazz festivals, held annually in Montreux, Switzerland. Band interviews are included in the extensive liner notes together with descriptions of their exciting performances, notably Tony Reeve's bass guitar showcase 'Mandarin', a version of 'Butty's Blues' sung and played by James Litherland and the tingling moment when Jon Hiseman climbs aboard his 'Time Machine' drum solo. This entire CD is a time machine designed to take you back to the future, right NOW!
