Perfectly positioned for the vinyl revival comes the debut album of Holly. Produced and mixed in pure analog in collaboration with John Vanderslice, Maps and Lists is breath of fresh air for those tired of overly digitized sounds, auto-tuned vocals, and bad lyrics that only your teenage cousin could love. The album features eight original songs, all recorded live in one or two takes, and a band of ringers including cellist Teddy Rankin-Parker (Iron and Wine, Glen Hansard), drummer Daniel Pearce, and bassist Patrick Taylor. A must-have for audiophiles, the limited edition, hand numbered pressing was done at QRP on 200 gram vinyl and includes original album artwork by award winning graphic novelist, Anders Nilsen (The End, Big Questions). The CD version is great too, even if it's less likely to become a collector's item you can hawk on Ebay for a couple grand to remodel your kitchen.
