The first family of Philly soul, the prolific Ingram Brothers, simply known as INGRAM, have long been at the center of the scene for decades now, often acting as the backup band for many of Society Hill Records bountiful roster of artists. They have also produced numerous projects with many of the area's finest artists with albums that range from straight up Philly soul to instrumental soul jazz and even gospel music. Although they have backed many gospel artists in the studio, "The Inspirational Experience" is a steppingstone for the band as it marks their first foray into the gospel music experience as a band. Most of the album was written, arranged and produced by James (Jimmy) Ingram with the lead vocal chores handed off to Johnny Ingram with backing vocal support provided by Carla Benson, Johnny Ingram and Timmy Ingram. Originally released in 2007, the album was only sold at live appearances and via direct mail until now. Due to popular demand, it has been newly remastered and is now set for full release on all digital platforms. This highly prolific band, synonymous with soul music, can now count a bona fide Gospel music album among their many accomplishments. .
