Michael Laurence (better known as British grime musician and DJ Ironik) has established himself as a key figure in popular music, having been signed to Atlantic at the age of 20 for the release of this, his debut full-length record. Having already collaborated with other such grime notables as Wiley (widely thought of as an originator of the genre), it is no surprise to see that the collaborations on 'No Point in Wasting Tears' are similarly high-brow - Wiley himself appears, as well as fellow youth Tinchy Stryder.
