After two years of creation, "Mixi mais trop" finally arrives. An album where Miximetry had a lot of fun with it's 11 tracks ! Raw Miximetry, in it's purest state. This album explores the different facets of the group. We discover their personality, more emotions and spirit, less pretenses. The group delivers itself deeply and starts to find itself. Musically, the group navigates through it's numerous influences, as it has always done. Rock of course, but also electro, rap, South American music, metal, funk,... In this album, we feel a complete musical freedom. Tracks are worked for the studio with guitars, voices, effects, synthesizers added to flesh out the texture of the sond. The texts, as for them, are more personal, more introspective. They describe emotions, feelings, aspects of the personality, trials of the life. There is also the arrival of story telling texts on the tracks "Ivresse" and "Fugitif", until now unexplored in Miximetry's music. In order to tie everything together, Miximetry worked with Damien Allard, a musician from Toulouse, to produce this CD, record it, mix it and master it. This collaboration has already seen 5 projects mastered. Damien knows the aspirations of the group and his touch sublimates the album. "Mixi mais trop" is an album in which we discover the real Miximetry, with it's strengths, it's weaknesses, it's dark areas, it's clarity, it's musicality, it's poetry, in short, it's universe.
