Prestige, one of Finland's very first thrash metal bands, return with a new album: "Reveal The Ravage" is full of straight to your face thrash metal and old school attitude!The band tried to create a harsh yet up-to-date sound with aggressive vocals, guitars, and lyrics with a meaning, often with some eye-opening lines. The two guitarist both play leads in a very versatile style, sometimes even with some melodic guitar lines, not forgetting the aggressive basis. One of the typical parts of the Prestige sound is the use of background vocals and shouts - something you don't hear too often anymore these days. The band wrote the album together and spent almost the whole year at the rehearsal studio, refining all the details and getting it all right. It is an uncompromising record in many ways, not following any trends but giving the honest Prestige approach to the thrash metal scene. The album is carefully thought through yet keeping the joy of playing alive and recorded as such too. The band kept in mind how the songs would also perform live all the time, and how the record flows. With thrash metal in their veins, Prestige returns with an attitude!
