The End are one of the most exciting groups to hit the Melbourne jazz scene in years. Showcasing some of Melbourne's best up and coming talent, this band has electrified audiences since it's formation in early 2009. The group was formed by Tim Willis with the aim to bring the live music audience back to jazz. Drawing upon influences from rock and pop music alike, yet still maintaining a sophisticated and intellectual edge, the End promises to bring a thrilling show that won't disappoint. The End's self-titled debut release was recorded in April 2010, where they entered the studio for three days and were lucky enough to secure the expertise of platinum award winning producer and engineer Steven Scanlin (Kate Cebrano, Vanessa Amorossi, Joel Turner). The album consists of ten original tracks, composed over five years and bought to life by some of Melbourne's finest emerging musicians. The album opens with the raucous track Fiddeling While Roam Burns and is catapulted into the stratosphere.
