The second part of Bernhard Ruchti's "A Tempo Project" features Franz Liszt's masterly "Fantasy and Fugue on 'Ad nos, ad salutarem undam'" for organ. Ruchti recorded the piece using the organ on which it was initially performed in 1855. A fabulous example of historical performance practice, this recording is the first ever to present a performance of the piece's original longer duration.
