2011 collection from the British Pop icon. Billy Fury was by far the UK's most credible and charismatic Rock 'n' Roller and his 1960 10" LP the Sound of Fury, is acknowledged as the UK's finest ever Rockabilly album. This compilation features Billy's first eight singles; a couple of stereo and/or alternate takes; the 10" LP in both mono and stereo; Billy's home-made demos of these songs; live tracks from Saturday Club, Oh Boy! And Boy Meets Girls; and a handful of demos he recorded in 1958, before he became famous. Included are his earliest UK hits, "Maybe Tomorrow", "Margo", "Colette", "That's Love", "Wondrous Place" and "A Thousand Stars". Jasmine.
