Seven inch vinyl pressing. Brooklyn's Breakdown Brass are made up of some of the hottest musicians in the NY area. Their cover of Dr. Dre's "Next Episode" is a monster that makes dancefloors go bonkers. Supported by a who's who of DJs this record is a masterful mix of Afro-funk meets Balkan brass, and with a dash of hip-hop simmering in the flow. The B-side "Monmouth" is a driving original with razor sharp horns and a rumbling sousaphone bassline. Guaranteed to get bodies moving and to get dancefloors sweaty, consider this 45 to be fresh ammunition for your record box. Originally issued on Kept Records in 2015, the run quickly sold out and became an instant crate digger classic that now regularly re-sells for upwards of three figures if you are lucky to find someone willing to part ways with it.
