On the Builders' fourth record, they set off to create an album that built layers around the already powerful electrified-folk sound they have honed over the years. Booking nearly a month of studio time with producer/engineer Dylan Magierek (STRFKR, Mark Kozelek, etc) they delved deep into epic musical territory they had yet to explore. Drawing influence from the post-apocalyptic writing of Cormac McCarthy and the folklore that the American west holds, the album arrives with a dark and twisted terrain.
