The Wind Orchestra, housed in the Bower School of Music and the Arts, is comprised of the finest wind and percussion students at Florida Gulf Coast University and is guided by a philosophy grounded in the study and performance of the highest quality music composed for wind band. Students are exposed to a wide variety of compositional techniques, rehearsal processes, and expressive possibilities that challenge each member to develop their musicianship.
